With the start of a new month, we unfortunately often see some titles leave Disney+ in the United States to head to other streaming services due to existing contracts made before the Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.

Disney kicked off October by removing the 20th Century Studios film “Eddie The Eagle” from Disney+ in the United States.  The film is still available on Disney+ some countries

It’s unclear how long the film will be available on other platforms, before eventually returning to Disney+ in the United States.

Unlike other streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t announce any titles that are leaving the service.

This film is about the feel-good story of Michael ‘Eddie’ Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself—even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach, Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of sports fans around the world by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

What do you think of Disney removing “Eddie The Eagle” from Disney+?
