Disney has made some adjustments to its upcoming theatrical release schedule.
The Searchlight Pictures film “The Eyes Of Tammy Faye” has been pulled forward and will now release on September 17th, instead of September 24th.
Disney has also moved back an untitled Marvel film from October 7th 2022 until 6th October 2023. This has caused a domino effect, with Disney removing an untitled Disney live-action title that was originally scheduled to be released on that date.
Another change was made to the schedule with Disney replacing an untitled 20th Century Studios title that was due to be released on November 10th 2023 with another untitled Marvel film, which was due to be released the week before on November 3rd 2023.
It’s unknown what movies these are, though many are speculating that one of the Marvel films will be “Blade”, which has previously announced at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, which will star Mahershala Ali as the vampire hunter.
It’s not uncommon for release schedules to be shuffled around, though, over the past 2 years, we’ve seen much more changes due to the pandemic and delays in production.
