Disney has announced that the documentary series “Disney Insider” is going to be returning in October.

The series takes fans behind the curtain of The Walt Disney Company. The series peels back the curtain of The Walt Disney Company like never before. Tune in each week as the series takes fans behind movies, theme parks, destinations, music, toys, and more. Each episode offers three unique stories that capture the magical moments and heartfelt storytelling that is Disney. We will be there first, to share our amazing stories, and through unrivaled access fans will see the true magic behind all things Disney.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic causing chaos, this series went from a regular weekly show, to eventually just disappearing for almost 18 months, as Disney struggled to release films and shows on time, plus with the theme parks closed, people working from home and reduced people on sets, the whole series just came to a stop.

Disney has announced that two episodes from the second batch will be coming in October, one on Wednesday 20th and another on Wednesday 27th.

Here are the details on these two episodes:

Episode 108 “Drawn To Life, Muppets and the Haunted Mansion, Our Very Own Studio Tour”

See the art of Disney animation come to life in the new Cirque du Soleil show, “Drawn to Life.” Go behind the scenes of “Muppets Haunted Mansion” to discover how the Muppets and the Haunted Mansion, inspired by all four of the iconic Disney Haunted Mansion attractions at various Disney theme parks across the globe, came together for the epic Halloween special.  Be our guest on a tour of the history of the Walt Disney Studio Lot, where there is magic around every corner.

Episode 109 “Harmonies of Harmonious, Tiana’s Cuisine, Galaxy’s Edge Expands… Virtually”

Disney Insider takes viewers behind the making of the new EPCOT nighttime spectacular “Harmonious,” a beautifully crafted medley of classic Disney music and visuals reinterpreted by 240 culturally diverse artists from all around the world, including Luis Fonsi, Lindsey Stirling, Máiréad Nesbitt, Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa, among others. Disney Cruise Line chefs from “Tiana’s Place” on the Disney Wonder give viewers a taste of the creole-inspired cuisine from “Princess and the Frog.”  Travel the galaxy into Star Wars: Tales from the  Galaxy’s Edge, ILMxLab’s latest VR adventure game, to see how voice actor Bobby Moynihan’s character “Seezelslak” was created.

There was a new episode of the series back in January. Unfortunately that new episodes had to be delayed, but this gap isn't as bad as it could've been to me.
