With the Coronavirus continuing to cause major problems such as more restrictions coming back into many countries and the US box office failing to bring audiences in after the release of movies like “The New Mutants” and “Tenet”, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see that Disney has reshuffled some of the remaining 20th Century Studios theatrical releases of 2020.

A number of films have now been delayed to outside 2020.  Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story“ is moving back an entire year, moving from December 18th 2021 and will now be released on December 10th 2021.

Death on the Nile“ moves will now move from October to West Side Story’s date of December 18th 2020.

While “Deep Water” is moving back from November 13th of this year to August 13th 2021.

Two 20th Century Studios movies are being released earlier, “The Empty Man” will now release on October 23rd and “The King’s Man” moves forward to February 12th.

What do you think of these delays?

The endless delays of "Death on the Nile" are exhausting its fans' patience. First it was supposed to be released in December 2019, then it was delayed ALL THE WAY to early October 2020. Then the date was changed to late October, and now it has been delayed AGAIN until December 18 of 2020. This is unprofessional. If it doesn't get released soon, the public will finally lose interest and Disney will lose a fortune. Show it in theaters now or just move on to the physical disc release.
