Boat Rocker Studios has announced that Disney has picked up a new CG-animated preschool series called Dino Ranch.  The series has been created by Matt Fernandes from  Industrial Brothers and is currently in pre-production.

This new series will be coming to Disney Junior in 2021 in the US first, followed by an international roll-out, so is expected to also include streaming rights for Disney+.

The series will consist of 52 episodes, that are 11 minutes each and Dino Ranch follows the action-packed adventures of the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a fantastical “pre-westoric” setting where dinosaurs still roam. As the young ranchers learn the ropes, they discover the thrill of ranch life whilst navigating the great outdoors through unpredictable challenges.

This thrill-a-minute series, packed with comedy and adventure, introduces kids to problem-solving, the foundations of forging life-long friendships, strengthening family and community bonds, and taking care of animals.

Boat Rocker Studios will be managing the global distribution, brand and licensing of Dino Ranch.  They are in advanced discussions with a number of partners, including a global toy deal, which are set to be announced shortly.

Jon Rutherford, managing director and president of rights for Boat Rocker Studios, said: “We are delighted to be working with Disney on Dino Ranch as they are the perfect platform to help us launch this entertaining new show in the U.S. Matt’s unique vision of combining cowboys/cowgirls and dinosaurs has huge global appeal, and we look forward to building Dino Ranch into a global franchise!”
