Mighty Ducks is set to arrive on Disney+ later this week in the United States, and there is some good news for Mighty Ducks fans, as both sequels, D2 and D3 will be arriving on Disney+ months earlier than planned.

Disney has recently reshuffled its release dates for most of the library content coming to Disney+ throughout 2020 and 2021.  These titles are already available in most other countries, but in the United States, existing contracts caused their Disney+ release to be delayed.

The two sequels were due to arrive on Disney+ on January 1st 2021, but now they will be added to Disney+ on Friday, October 30th.

UPDATE – They are being added even earlier, on September 4th.

D2: The Mighty Ducks

After Gordon Bombay’s hockey comeback is cut short he is named coach of Team USA Hockey for the Junior Goodwill Games. Bombay reunites the Mighty Ducks and introduces a few new players, however, he finds himself distracted by his newfound fame and must regather if the Ducks are to defeat tournament favourites Iceland.

D3: The Mighty Ducks

The Ducks are offered scholarships at Eden Hall Academy but struggle with their new coach’s methods and come under pressure from the board to retain their scholarships before their big game against the Varsity team.

Are you looking forward to watching these Mighty Ducks sequels?
