Each week, I answer questions from our Patreons/YouTube Channel Members and this week, questions included:

  • Do you think Disney could possibly purchase the original Indiana Jones movies’ streaming rights after the new movie is released and is on the service?
  • Do you still think Star will be included in the same app after the CFO’s most recent comments?
  • Do you think that the reports regarding Disney Plus getting a 20th Century Studios and/or Touchstone buttons is/could be true, given the fact that Hulu and possibly Star will be focused on television series?
  • Was there a movie or experience that started your love for all things Disney?
  • Why don’t they just Release Star in The U.S And Just say that Hulu is Different Like Hulu Has Live TV And ads While Star Has No Live Tv And Ad-Free?

    Disney messes up big by making that 5 year deal with Comcast for Hulu instead of just buying them outright last year. Now they’ve booked Hulu into this very weird corner, one that’s already been made irrelevant by the Indian and Indonesian launches of Disney+ Hotstar — which is probably what they should’ve launched Disney+ as everywhere. Having all these different random streaming services is completely ridiculous and splitting up content between them is also ridiculous. People want to watch Family Guy alongside The Simpsons, people want to watch Barkskins alongside The Right Stuff, people want to watch Deadpool alongside X-Men: Days of Future Past.

    Yeah that’s likely to never happen because Disney+ is only meant for Disney content The first four Indiana Jones movies were distributed by Paramount Pictures which is owned by ViacomCBS. They all left Netflix last month and as of right now are all on CBS All Access.
