Disney has removed the ABC documentary “Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King – A Special Edition of 20/20” from Disney+ in the United States.

Originally this special aired on ABC on Sunday, August 30th and celebrates Boseman’s storied life, legacy and career and the cultural imprint he made on- and off-screen. Hosted by Robin Roberts, the program features tributes that have poured in from celebrities, political figures and fans across the world, special words from those who starred alongside him and knew Boseman best and shine a light on the medical condition he privately battled.

This documentary was added to Disney+ a year ago.   Disney has previously removed selected TV specials around a year after they’ve been added.

Boo. That was a great special. I wish it'll be brought back some day. On the plus side (pun not intended), I just found out the special Marvel Studios logo honoring Chadwick Boseman is not on ALL digital copies of Black Panther, not just D+.
