Marvel Studios is currently developing a new Halloween special for Disney+ called, “Werewolf By Night”, though Disney hasn’t officially announced the project.

This new Disney+ special will star Gael Garcia Bernal, who is expected to play the role of the “Werewolf By Night”, who can transform into a werewolf while retaining human intellects.

Very little is known about the upcoming Marvel Halloween special, such as what the plot will be, but according to a new rumour from The Cosmic Circus, Blade will be making an appearance in the special.

Back at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, it was revealed that Mahershala Ali would be playing the vampire hunter, who has already made his MCU debut in a post-credit scene in “Eternals”.

There could be many reasons for an appearance by Blade in this special. It could be because he joins in with the fight to take down Vampire By Night, who is a relative of Werewolf By Night and rumoured to be played by Laura Donnelly.

Another explanation for Blade’s appearance in the special, could be in a Nick Fury role of recruiting a team for an upcoming film, possibly, “The Midnight Sons”, which is a team of supernatural superheroes that has included many members over the years, including Helstrom, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Man-Thing and many more.

Filming is due to begin later this month on “Werewolf By Night” and “Blade” set to start filming in August. Hopefully, it won’t be too long until we find out more.
