The 2021 GRAMMY Awards took place this weekend, with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift both picking up awards, both of which had special Disney+ Originals released in 2020 based on their albums.

Taylor Swift’s Folklore won the award for “Best Album of the Year”, which was is featured in the “Folklore – Long Pond Sessions” Disney+ Original.

While Beyoncé won two awards, including “Best R&B Performance” for “Black Parade” and the “Best Music Video” for the”Brown Skin Girl” music video, both are apart of the Disney+ Original special, “Black Is King”, which is inspired by Disney’s “The Lion King”.

Disney’s Searchlight Pictures “Jojo Rabbit” also picked up an award for “Best compilation soundtrack for visual media”.  Disney’s Frozen 2 was also nominated in this category.

“Folklore – The Long Pond Sessions” and “Black is King” are available on Disney+ now.  “JoJo Rabbit” is also available on Disney+ in some countries, including Australia and New Zealand.
