Disney is launching the first episode of the new Original series “Big Shot” on Disney+ on Friday 16th April.
To promote the new series arriving on Disney+, a special private premiere event was held on Wednesday evening in a parking lot in Los Angeles, which was attended by many of the stars of the show including John Stamos, Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tisha Custodio, Monique Green and Cricket Wampler.
Over 150 cars attended the premiere and there were strict COVID rules in place, including wiping down every basketball between people using them.

“Big Shot” tells the story of a men’s basketball coach, who after getting ousted from the NCAA, is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an elite private high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability —foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn (John Stamos). By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.
