Disney are looking to create a new series based on the 1962 movie, Big Red, for Disney+.  According to the Georgia Film Office , who is listing the series is in production. Other evidence was spotted by a Facebook follower of Atlanta’s The A-Scene, who  spotted signs for “CLIFFORD,” the filming code for the project, near Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale earlier this week and another local spotted the series being filmed at Stars Mill in Fayette County.

The original movie was released by Walt Disney and is about a wealthy sportsman’s decision to hire a backwoods orphan to exercise a champion Irish Setter, which has unexpected consequences.  At the moment, the original isn’t available on Disney+ either, so might be being held back to build some buzz before the series is announced or released.

No official details on this new Disney+ series has been announced, but it could be coming to Disney+ in 2020.
