September will see a number of new series arrive onto Disney+ in the United States, and I’ve picked out some of the best series coming to Disney+ in the month ahead. There is only one brand new Disney+ Original series starting up on Disney+ in September, but there are new episodes of many other Disney+ Originals coming each Wednesday throughout the month. Plus new episodes from many National Geographic and Disney Channel shows.

Here’s the rundown:
Marvel’s Studios What If ?
Marvel Studios’ “What If…?,” showcasing the compelling series that reimagines famous events from films in the MCU. Creating a multiverse of infinite possibilities, “What If… ?” features fan-favorite characters, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and more.
New episodes are released on Disney+ every Wednesday throughout September.
Doogie Kamealoha, M.D
“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” – a coming-of-age dramedy inspired by the hit medical series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” – follows Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha, a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager. With the support of her caring and comical ‘ohana (family) and friends, Lahela is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path.
Guiding Lahela (and also complicating things) is her career-driven mother Dr. Clara Hannon who’s also her supervisor at the hospital, her doting father Benny who helps keep her connected to what matters most, her free-spirited older brother Kai, her gregarious younger brother Brian Patrick, her best friend Steph, her surfer crush Walter and her fellow hospital colleagues, Dr. Lee, Charles and Noelani.
The first episode will arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday 8th September, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday afterwards.
Turner & Hooch
When an ambitious, buttoned-up US Marshal inherits a big unruly dog, he soon realizes the dog he didn’t want may be the partner he needs. “Turner & Hooch” stars Josh Peck as Scott Turner, son of Detective Scott Turner portrayed by Tom Hanks in the 1989 film of the same name.
The series also stars Carra Patterson as Jessica Baxter, Scott’s brave, street-smart partner; Brandon Jay McLaren as Xavier Wilson, a cool, enigmatic marine-turned-US Marshal; Anthony Ruivivar as Chief James Mendez, Scott’s boss with a secret soft spot for Scott’s new dog, Hooch; Lyndsy Fonseca as Laura Turner, Scott’s sweet, animal-loving sister; Jeremy Maguire as Matthew Garland, Laura’s dog-loving son; and Vanessa Lengies as Erica Mouniere, the quirky head of the US Marshals dog training program. Five French Mastiffs also star as Hooch, Scott’s slobbery, loveable French Mastiff.
New episodes will be released every Wednesday throughout September.
Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life
Dale makes a serious mistake when he steals the wrong dog’s chestnuts. / Chip meets his match in the baby enclosure on the wild, wild west side of the park. / Chip and Dale have always been joined at the hip but now they actually are!
New episodes are being released every Wednesday throughout September.
Disney’s Pepper Ann (S1 – S3)
One of the most popular Disney Channel animated series, Pepper Ann comes to Disney+ on Wednesday 9th September.
Disney’s Magic Bake-Off (S1), 7 episodes
Three teams of two young pastry chefs race against the clock to design a Disney-inspired cake in the hopes of being named “Disney Baking Champion.”
7 episodes from the latest season of “Disney’s Magic Bake-Off are coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 29th September.
Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (S4), 13 episodes
Marinette and Adrien, both in high school, are tasked with capturing akumas, creatures that make people evil. For this, both become superheroes but they do not know each other’s identities.
13 new episodes of “Miraculous Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir” will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th September.
Unknown Waters with Jeremy Wade (S1)
Jeremy Wade searches for answers in the most remarkable rivers, lakes and seas on the planet to reveal the secrets of these extraordinary places.
Three episodes of “Unknown Waters” will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th September.
The Incredible Dr. Pol (S19)
Dr Jan Pol has been a practicing veterinarian for more than half his life. In 1981 he and his wife, Diane, opened a vet business out of their home, and over the years it has grown to service more than 19,000 clients. Set in Central Michigan’s farm country, this reality series follows Dr Pol and the work done at Pol Veterinary Services. Specializing in large farm animals, Dr Pol treats horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens and even an occasional reindeer. The program also features Dr Brenda Grettenberger, who has worked with Dr Pol since 1992.

Dog: Impossible (S2)
Dog behaviour specialist Matt Beisner works with canines to help modify their behaviour and develop a healthy relationship between the dogs and their owners.
Season 2 of “Dog Impossible” is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 22nd September.
Disney Junior The Chicken Squad (S1)
Three young chicken siblings and their retired search and rescue dog mentor, Captain Tully, work together on problem-solving adventures in their backyard to help their animal friends.
Four new episodes of this Disney Junior series will arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday 1st September.
Life Below Zero: Next Generation (S16)
Individuals who have recently left their traditional lifestyle behind face a challenging new world off the grid in the wilds of Alaska.
Season 16 of this “Life Below Zero” spin-off will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th September.
