In December, Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland is getting a new wave of original shows like “Hawkeye” and “Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett”, plus lots of other Star Originals and additions the Disney+ library.

Here’s a look at all the best series coming to Disney+ in the UK and Series in December:
Note: This list is subject to change and availability can vary between countries.

Hawkeye

Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who teams up with another well-known archer from the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. The cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. “Hawkeye” is helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.


New episodes of “Hawkeye” are coming to Disney+ every Wednesday in December before Christmas.


Foodtastic

“Foodtastic” is an immersive global competition series in which highly skilled artists create extravagant scene work and larger-than-life sculptures made entirely out of food. From vegetables and butter to fruit and cheese, these everyday items are transformed into works of art. Each episode is rooted in iconic Disney IP and the food-based builds are an extension of that world. “Foodtastic” is hosted by Emmy Award winner Keke Palmer (Disney+’s “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”) with FLOUR SHOP founder Amirah Kassem and NYC’s City Cakes founder Chef Benny Rivera serving as food art experts.


All 11 episodes arrive exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday 15th December 2021

Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

The first episode of “The Book Of Boba Fett” arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday 29th December 2021.


Dopesick

This new limited series examines how one company triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history. The series takes viewers to the epicenter of America’s struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of Big Pharma, to a distressed Virginia mining community, to the hallways of the DEA. Defying all the odds, heroes will emerge in an intense and thrilling ride to take down the craven corporate forces behind this national crisis and their allies.

New episodes are released every Wednesday throughout December.


 


The Wonder Years

The coming-of-age story of a 12-year-old Black boy in Montgomery, Ala., in the late 1960s, as told by his adult self.

This brand new series is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 22nd December 2021, with new episodes then being released weekly afterwards.


The Big Leap

A modern tale about second chances and chasing one’s dreams. “The Big Leap” revolves around a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show that builds to a live production of “Swan Lake.”

New episodes are being released on Disney+ every Wednesday.



Last Man Standing – Season 9

A married father of three tries to maintain his manliness in a world increasingly dominated by women.

The last few remaining new episodes are dropping onto Disney+ every Wednesday in December.


American Horror Story: Double Feature (UK/Ireland)

American Horror Story is an anthology horror drama series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. This season is split into two different stories. A struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter. Once they’re settled in, the town’s true residents begin to make themselves known.

Family Guy – Season 20

Peter Griffin and his family of two teenagers, a smart dog, a devilish baby and his wife find themselves in some of the most hilarious scenarios.

New episodes of “Family Guy” are coming to Disney+ every Wednesday in December.


The Choe Show

In “The Choe Show,” world-renowned artist David Choe turns his eccentric, compassionate and disruptive worldview into a lens for an audience to experience a radical empathy for others. From the walls of his childhood home, Choe takes his guests on a journey where he is a motivational interviewer and compassionate listener. He uses the acts of art and play as Choe and his guests depart on a journey of shared emotional experience. It is through their bonded and authentic connection that Choe is able to bring forth an of-the-moment honesty.

This FX series will be coming exclusively to Disney+ on Wednesday 29th December 2021.


Disney Insider

This docuseries takes fans behind the curtain of The Walt Disney Company. The series peels back the curtain of The Walt Disney Company like never before. Tune in each week as the series takes fans behind movies, theme parks, destinations, music, toys, and more. Each episode offers three unique stories that capture the magical moments and heartfelt storytelling that is Disney. We will be there first, to share our amazing stories, and through unrivaled access fans will see the true magic behind all things Disney.


There will be two new episodes released on Disney+ in December.


Malcolm in the Middle

Malcolm, a bright and intelligent boy, lives with his dysfunctional family while dealing with the troubles of being the middle child and a teenager.

All seven seasons of this classic sitcom is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th December


Devs

Lily Chan, a computer engineer, suspects Amaya, a computing firm, of being involved in her boyfriend’s disappearance. Resultantly, she sets out to investigate its CEO and find out the truth.

This FX seires is coming to Disney+ on 8th December 2021.



Brickleberry

Fledgling Brickleberry National Park is facing its demise as a tourist attraction, its future in the hands of a dysfunctional group of forest rangers. To help save Brickleberry, top ranger Ethel Anderson is summoned from Yellowstone. Her park skills — not to mention her sex appeal — are seen as a threat to reigning Ranger of the Month Steve Williams, who does everything in his power to make Ethel look bad. The head ranger, Woody Johnson, is a hapless sort who always has the park’s best interests in mind, even if his ideas on how to run it aren’t nearly the best. Woody takes comfort in his pet, Malloy, a vulgar and spoiled grizzly cub who loves to put down the other rangers — especially Steve. The animated series is co-executive-produced by Daniel Tosh, who also voices Malloy.

All three seasons of this animated series is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 8th December 2021.


Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi

From indigenous communities to recent immigrant arrivals, Padma breaks bread with Americans across the nation to uncover the roots and relationship between our food, our humanity and our history – ultimately revealing stories that challenge notions of identity, belonging, and what it means to be American.

The first season is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 1st December, with the second season arriving the following week.


The Ghost and Molly McGee S1

Tween optimist Molly McGee and a grumpy ghost named Scratch become bound to each other when one of Scratch’s spells backfires. Molly lives to make the world a better place, fix what has gone wrong, and spread joy, whereas Scratch wants to make the world a worse place, break what has gone right, and spread misery. Despite their differences, the two form an unlikely friendship and find themselves helping each other through the ups and downs of their respective worlds.


The first ten episodes of this new Disney Channel animated series will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 29th December 2021.


American Housewife

Katie Otto, a mother of three children, struggles to fit in with wealthy people in her new neighbourhood while looking after her husband and kids.

All five seasons of “American Housewife” are coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 22nd December.


Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted

Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay travels around the world to immerse himself into different cultures and cuisines. He then interacts with local chefs to learn and compete with them.

The second season of “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted” is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 8th December.




Dog With a Blog

Two opposing step-siblings find a reason to come together when they learn that the family’s new dog can talk and even write.

This classic Disney Channel series is finally coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 22nd December 2021.


Da Vinci’s Demons

Leonardo da Vinci, an eccentric genius in his mid-20s, begins seeing and inventing things far beyond his time.

All three seasons of “Da Vinci’s Demons” are coming to Disney+ on 8th December 2021.


Sonny with a Chance

Sonny Monroe, a teenager from Green Bay, Wis., moves with her mom to Los Angeles when she is chosen to join the cast of her favorite TV show, a sketch comedy series called “So Random.” It’s not all a fairy tale, as she deals with her diva co-star Tawny, and the friction between the cast of her show and a rival network show called “MacKenzie Falls.” But she keeps her head up and a smile firmly in place as she tries to make everything turn out OK.

Both seasons of this classic Disney Channel series is finally coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th December 2021


Bless this Mess

Newlyweds Rio and Mike make the decision to change the course of their life together and move from the relentless pace of big city New York to what they think will be a more relaxed existence in rural Nebraska. After dropping everything –including their jobs and an overbearing mother-in-law — to make the move from skyscrapers to farmhouses, they soon realize that the simpler life isn’t as easy as they had planned. Rio and Mike must now learn how to weather the storm as they are faced with unexpected challenges in their new lives as farmers.

Mixed-ish

Rainbow Johnson recounts her experience growing up in a mixed-race family in the ’80s and the constant dilemmas she and the family members had to face over whether to assimilate or stay true to themselves. As her parents struggle with the challenges of their new life, Bow and her siblings navigate a mainstream school in which they’re perceived as neither black nor white. The family’s experiences illuminate the challenges of finding one’s own identity when the rest of the world can’t decide where you belong.

    Kind of hope they bring the classic original The Wonder Years to the platform too, along with Ellen, Home Improvement and a whole host of MTM series and Golden Girls spin off Empty Nest, Golden Palace and Nurses, and also bring Blossom to the UK
