Disney+ in the United States is getting a new wave of films this January including a major new Marvel Studios film and an all-new animated film from the Ice Age franchise.

Here’s a look at all the films coming to Disney+ in the US in January:

Eternals

Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

The outstanding ensemble cast includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.


“Eternals” is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 12th January 2022


The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild

Simon Pegg is back as Buck in “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild,” an all-new movie that features Buck, Crash & Eddie and a few new friends as they go on a prehistoric mission to save the Lost World from dinosaur domination.

This all-new film is coming exclusivity to Disney+ on Friday 28th January 2022


 


Like Mike

Calvin and his friends, who all live in an orphanage, find old shoes with the faded letters MJ connected to a powerline. One stormy night, they go to get the shoes when Calvin and the shoes are struck by lightning. Calvin now has unbelievable basketball powers and has the chance to play for the NBA.

Another young boy with ‘hoop dreams’ finds an old pair of Michael Jordan’s sneakers and can suddenly play ball like the greatest player in the world.

Both “Like Mike” films are coming to Disney+ on Friday 7th January 2022



Catch That Kid

Molly, an adventurous girl, and her two companions, Gus and Austin, decide to steal money from a bank to pay for her father’s medical operation to save him.

This 20th Century Studios film will arrive on Disney+ on Friday 14th January 2022


The Sandlot

During a summer of friendship and adventure, one boy becomes a part of the gang, nine boys become a team and their leader becomes a legend by confronting the terrifying mystery beyond the right field wall.

This film is returning to Disney+ on Friday 7th January 2022


Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

Greg Heffley wants to relax, have fun and play as many video games as possible during his summer vacation. Instead, he unwillingly gets dragged into an ill-fated camping trip.
