In December, Disney+ in the United Kingdom is getting lots of fantastic new films, original exclusives and some new additions to the library.

Here’s a look at all the films coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom in December:


Encanto

The biggest new movie heading to Disney+ in December is Encanto, which is about a girl in Colombia faces the frustration of being the only member of her family who doesn’t have magical powers.

“Encanto” is coming to Disney+ on Christmas Eve.

 

 

 


Ron’s Gone Wrong

Barney is a socially awkward schoolboy who receives a robot named Ron — a walking, talking, digitally connected device that’s supposed to be his best friend. Barney is excited to finally have his own robot — until his new toy starts to hilariously malfunction, drawing the attention of a shady executive who wants to protect his company’s stock price at all costs.

“Ron’s Gone Wrong” is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 15th December.

 

 

 


The Last Duel

Jean de Carrouges is a respected knight known for his bravery and skill on the battlefield. Jacques Le Gris is a squire whose intelligence and eloquence makes him one of the most admired nobles in court. When Le Gris viciously assaults Carrouges’ wife, she steps forward to accuse her attacker, an act of bravery and defiance that puts her life in jeopardy. The ensuing trial by combat, a grueling duel to the death, places the fate of all three in God’s hands.

“The Last Duel” will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 1st December 2021.

 

 

 


Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

The first book in Jeff Kinney’s worldwide bestselling series comes to Disney+ in the all-new animated adventure “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” Greg Heffley is a scrawny but ambitious kid with an active imagination and big plans to be rich and famous – he just has to survive middle school first. To make matters worse, Greg’s lovable best friend Rowley seems to coast through life and succeed at everything without even trying! As details of his hilarious – and often disastrous – attempts to fit in fill the pages of his journal, Greg learns to appreciate true friends and the satisfaction that comes from standing up for what is right. Directed by Swinton Scott (“Futurama”) and written and produced by Jeff Kinney, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” features the voices of Brady Noon (“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers”), Ethan William Childress (“mixed-ish”) and Chris Diamantopoulos (“Mickey Mouse”).

This all-new original movie will only be available on Disney+ from Friday 3rd December 2021.

 

 

 


Christmas Again

Ro isn’t handling her parents’ divorce well because she wants her life back the way it was—her parents back together, her dad’s new girlfriend and son out of the picture, and their family traditions to remain the same. After a disappointing celebration with her family, including her sister Gabriela “Gabby,” Abuela Sofia and Abuelo Hector, she makes a wish to a neighborhood Santa for a “do-over” and unexpectedly finds herself reliving Christmas day over and over … and over again. Now, in order to break the strange magical loop, Ro must learn to appreciate her loving family as it is, as well as the true meaning of Christmas.

This all-new Disney Channel Original Movie is coming to Disney+ on Friday 10th December 2021.

This National Geographic film is coming to Disney+ on Friday 3rd December 2021.

 

 

 


The First Wave

Documenting the harrowing first four months of COVID-19 with brave health care workers at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, N.Y., as they risk their lives in the epic battle to keep the virus at bay.

“The First Wave” is coming to Disney+ on Sunday 5th December 2021.

 

 

 


Pearl Harbor

The lifelong friendship between Rafe McCawley and Danny Walker is put to the ultimate test when the two ace fighter pilots become entangled in a love triangle with beautiful Naval nurse Evelyn Johnson. But the rivalry between the friends-turned-foes is immediately put on hold when they find themselves at the center of Japan’s devastating attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

“Pearl Harbor” is heading to Disney+ on Friday 3rd December.


JoJo Rabbit (2019)

Hitler Youth cadet Jojo Betzler firmly believes in the ideals of Nazism manifested by his imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler. However, his foundations are shaken when he finds a Jewish girl in his house.

“JoJo Rabbit” is coming to Disney+ on Friday 17th December


Downhill (2020)

Billie and Pete, a married couple, take a family skiing vacation to Austria. However, after having a near-death experience, they are forced to confront their relationship and feelings for each other.

“Downhill” is coming to Disney+ on Christmas Eve.


Paddington (2014)

A young bear who can walk and talk travels to London from the jungles of Peru. There, he is adopted by the Brown family and goes through many adventures in the big city.


Paddington 2 (2017)

Paddington takes up a job to accumulate enough money to buy the perfect gift for his aunt on her 100th birthday, but it gets stolen.

Both “Paddington” films are coming to Disney+ on New Years Eve.


Life Of Pi (2012)

Pi Patel finds a way to survive in a lifeboat that is adrift in the middle of nowhere. His fight against the odds is heightened by the company of a hyena and a male Bengal tiger.

“Life Of Pi” is coming to Disney+ on Christmas Eve.


King Arthur (2004)

Arthur, a reluctant leader, wants to return the peace and stability of Rome. Before he can, a mission leads him to the conclusion that when Rome is captured, Britain will need a leader.

“King Arthur” is coming to Disney+ on Friday 17th December


Juno (2007)

Social misfit Juno protects herself with a caustic wit, but her unplanned pregnancy has the teen getting more involved in the lives of her baby’s adoptive parents than she expected.

“Juno” will be heading to Disney+ on Friday 10th December.


The Last Ice

Inuit communities in the Arctic fight to protect their homes from developers.

This National Geographic documentary is coming to Disney+ on Friday 10th December,

 

 

 


Die Hard

Hoping to spend Christmas with his estranged wife, detective John McClane arrives in LA. However, he learns about a hostage situation in an office building and his wife is one of the hostages.

“Die Hard” is coming to Disney+ on Friday 3rd December and completes the franchise, which will now all be available on Disney+.
