At last years Disney Investor Day, it was announced that a brand new animated movie, “Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild”, will be coming exclusively to Disney+.

“Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild” is a spin-off of the popular “Ice Age” franchise from 20th Century Studios and centres on three series favourites: the prankster possum brothers Crash and Eddie, and the swashbuckling titular weasel, Buck. Simon Pegg will be returning in the role of Buck Wild.

Recently it’s been revealed by Batu Sener on social media that he is currently recording the score for the film.

Batu is a Los Angeles based composer, orchestrator, and arranger, working on some of the biggest animation, action, and sci-fi projects in Hollywood. He’s been working alongside Oscar-nominated composer John Powell and his music can be heard in Warner Bros.’ Pan and Universal Pictures’ latest installment of the action-thriller series, Jason Bourne, animated feature Ferdinand, Disney/Lucas Film’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, as well as DreamWorks Animation’s final installment of the How to Train Your Dragon series. Sener’s music has given life to several award-winning short films and numerous television series. His music and arrangements have been featured in live performances (including at the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg) and records. Sener’s most recent works include a studio album titled Lugano Impressions, an a cappella choir single LII Dies Tenebrarum, additional music on 20th Century Studios’ The Call of the Wild.

“Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild” is due to be released on Disney+ in 2022.

Many of the previously released “Ice Age” films are available to stream on Disney+.
