Walt Disney Studios co-chairman Alan Bergman, has had protesters outside his Los Angeles home this weekend by musicians due to a dispute over film and TV contracts.  The protest was made by the the American Federation of Musicians and streaming services like Disney+ are one of the major issues behind it.

The 80,000-member union’s current contract with management’s AMPTP is set to expire on November 14th and talks are ongoing.  The union told Deadline:

“Without streaming residuals, a musician can take a 75% pay cut when a Disney film is released on Disney Plus versus in theaters or on network television.”

The protesters stopped outside many of the home of major film and TV studio executives throughout Los Angeles, in addition to stopping outside the Graumann’s Chinese Theatre.
