With the start of a brand new month, unfortunately, that means Disney is forced to remove some titles from Disney+ in the United States due to pre-existing contracts made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox.

Disney has kicked off 2022, by removing the 20th Century Studios film, “Alvin & The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked” from Disney+.

Unlike most streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t announce any removals in advance, but thankfully, there are barely a handful of titles removed each month.

The film is now available on Peacock and once the film has completed its contract, it will return.  Though internationally, this movie is still available on Disney+.

On vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they become ‘chipwrecked’ on a desert island. As Dave Seville frantically searches for his AWOL charges, the ‘munks and Chipettes do what they do best: Sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they’re in for a surprise when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend, a castaway who’s more than a match for Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Will you miss “Alvin & The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked”?
