Actor Tom Hiddleston has revealed during an interview with MTV News that the upcoming Disney+ Original Marvel series, Loki, will consist of 6 episodes, each lasting around a hour long.

During the interview, Tom Hiddleston also revealed that the series will include plenty of humor since the series is being written by “Rick & Morty” writer, Michael Waldron.

He also revealed when he shot Loki’s death scene, he thought that was the last time he was going to play the character.  Then he found out about the Loki series about six weeks the worldwide release of Avengers: Infinity War, so had to lie to everyone about what was coming up.

“[All that] meant I had to go and do press for Avengers: Infinity War going ‘yup, that’s it, guys.  So I did know about it then, but I didn’t know what the story was. Working with them on what it’s going to be, what the content’s going to be, what the meat and potatoes of the story’s gonna be, the tone, the context, the different challenges, it’s so exciting.”

Check out the interview below:

The series will be coming to Disney+ in the spring of 2021 and will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which saw Loki escape with the Space Stone when Captain America and Iron Man went back in time to grab the stone.
