With huge successes for its live action retelling of its animated movies like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and the Lion King, earlier this year, it was revealed that Disney would be making a new live action movie based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

And according to the DisInsider, production is due to begin in March 2020 in Vancouver, Canada.  Casting is now underway for all the major characters including Snow White, The Prince, Evil Queen and the seven Dwarfs.

This new movie is going to be directed by Marc Webb, who previously directed “The Amazing Spider-Man”, with Marc Platt producing the film.  The script is being worked on by The Girl on the Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson.  It will also be a musical, with Aladdin’s songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul working on brand new music for the film.
