National Geographic have released a trailer for their upcoming movie, “The Cave”.   This documentary movie has been made by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Feras Fayyad.   The Cave tells the story of a hidden underground hospital in Syria and the unprecedented female-led team who risk their lives to provide medical care to the besieged local population.

The Cave will be coming to Theaters this fall and with National Geographic set to be one of the core 5 brands of Disney+, this documentary could be apart of the new streaming service.  The documentary doesn’t have an official rating yet, so if it’s rated R, its possible it won’t be included on Disney+.

Like last years “Free Solo”, this movie is expected to be in the running for the upcoming award season.
