The new Marvel shows for Disney+ are set to change up how stories are told within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whereas we’ve seen many TV shows mention the events of New York from the first Avengers movie, they’ve generally been very insular.

Recently ComicBook.com spoke with Captain Marvel’s producer Mary Livanos, where they asked if the Disney+ shows are allowed to expand to new parts of the Marvel universe since they are detached from the main MCU.

“No I don’t think so. They will directly affect the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some very real ways. That’s what makes the opportunity to segue into the streaming space so attractive to us at Marvel Studios. You can really tell, like a full comic book event, like a multi-issue story from the point of storytelling.”

And the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame seems to have set up the Disney+ Original series such as Loki, Falcon & Winter Soldier, Wandavision and the unannounced Hawkeye shows.  And this is just the shows we know about, we could see many more in the years ahead.

Are you excited for these new Marvel Disney+ shows?
